Videotape is a very fragile medium -- extremely sesitive to the ravages of time. Before your precious videos disintegrate completely, consider just how cool it would be to share those memories on your computer, home theater system or portable dvd player. Let us turn your vhs tapes tapes into clean modern dvds to enjoy for decades to come.
The dvd format
Requires compression to Mpeg-2 format, which can smooth out the look of your original footage. This is handled automatically by the transfer process we use. DVD's have an expected life of over 25 years. Videotapes will disintegrate long before that point.
Note: We cannot make dvd copies of commercially produced vhs tapes or dvds, or any other source with copy protection. It's a violation of copyright law.

How it works -
You mail us your carefully packaged vhs tapes.
We'll make a digital copy to dvd. Your original is not changed or damaged in any way. We'll be happy to print an image you supply to the dvd disc, or as a dvd package insert -- just let us know.
